Time was I used to go to all the big pen shows, all of 'em from A to Zed but that was in my younger years. Chicago, my home town and the longest running pen show in the country.

Very nice to see many old friends and lots and lots of modern and vintage pens, inks, ephemera, supplies and accessories.

One of our most exceptional modern pen manufacturer with consistent nod to vintage heritage and design is Brian Gray of the Edison Pen Co.

A new kid on the block from a few years ago who is turning fine hand made fountain and rollerball pens in rare woods and scrimshaw. Exceptional detail, precision tolerances, some with magnetic cap and posting closures: Ryan Krusac

Had a great time at the show, plenty of events planned for rest of weekend and best of all some of the nicest pen people on the planet.

Thanks to Don Lavin and show organizers Paul Conterato and Roger Wooten for doing a great job.
